It is not easy to travel so vast and diverse country such as Canada. The Land of Maple Leaf is known for modern cities, various landscapes, northern lights, ice hockey, harsh winters, rich wildlife, and friendly residents.

When on the road, you can see rainforests, mountains, deserts and incredibly blue lakes, tundras, and even beaches. The only detail, to see it all, reserve at least several months of your time.

The vastness and slightly higher cost of living might be the reason, why Canada was long time overlooked by overseas visitors, but it is changing abruptly and some parts of Canada, especially The Canadian Rockies, are now on travelers radar.

We spent a year in Calgary, doing our Work & Travel Visa and we are very grateful that we could experience this country from a different perspective and get to know it a little bit better.
